I've seen my piano shifted by a wide variety of movers over the years, but Edinburgh Piano Moves are the best. They were a class act, working as a tight team to move different dollies in and out depending on the surface, carefully protecting both the piano and my walls and surfaces. It was like watching an army engineers team. They were quick, slick and professional, and had the piano loaded, secured and away in minutes. Price-wise they were fair too - less than a couple of other quotes I'd heard of. I would really recommend them.

I’d give a 6th star if I could. If you should ever decide to move a piano yourself and then find yourself ugly crying with a sore back and a 1950s upright stuck in your front hall, these are the people to call. Fast, careful, very thorough. Great people and good communication. Highly recommended!

Communication was poor from the start, and when I called to report that his team had chipped my £10,000 mint condition piano, Gerry was aggressive and dismissive. He refused to provide proper contact/insurance details and offered no help to resolve the damage. I especially don't recommend to women. If you proceed, insist on a written contract and verified insurance up front, because he likes to do everything over the phone, for obvious reasons.
