Wonderful piano shop, well worth a visit. I appreciated being able to try the pianos without any pressure. Alice and the owner Jamie were very knowledgeable and accommodating. I purchased a beautiful Yamaha U1 which I am delighted with. Special mention to the Edinburgh Piano Moves guys who delivered it all the way up to my house on Isle of Lewis.

Shout out to wonderful piano tuner, John Bahr, who did a great job tuning my 1930s Blüthner. Recent tuning had been undertaken during some house renovation, so he came back to do a fine tuning and piano vacuum. Sings like a bell now. So grateful as ever to McLarens Pianos for their service.

I recently commissioned an overhaul of my piano’s action from John Mark Bahr a piano technician working with McLaren’s Pianos. The work was planned meticulously, executed diligently and completed on time. Additionally John, who spent two days working on the piano in our house, is an affable and easygoing person whose enthusiasm for his craft is palpable. The piano ‘glows’ after its makeover and the resultant piano sound is markedly improved. Couldn’t rate the service more highly.

Great selection, competive prices, easy to arrange delivery (and very afforable delivery considering the steps involved in Glasgow tenements!), and everyone was very helpful getting me the perfect silent piano

I decided to go with McLaren's Pianos to get my old neglected Lipp tuned and in better shape. Despite my busy schedule and not returning his calls, Jamie was incredibly patient and helpful in getting a tuning booked in. A lovely bloke called John turned up and after 2.5 hours of careful cleaning, tuning and pleasant chatter, I was quite shocked at the very reasonable bill. Although I appreciate this business are clearly not attempting to fleece customers, £75 just felt like an insufficient amount for his time and expertise. John will be back in 6 weeks to carry out a second tune and replace a spring on my poor old neglected piano. I look forward to hearing the beautiful, rich, tuned sound come out of it once again. I've had such an impressive experience with McLaren's so far and would recommend them to anyone.
