Awful service. Have damaged steps and door frame when delivering our piano. Only one man sent to deliver such a heavy piano. No reply from owner now to cover damage costs.
I've been using Pianospeed for 6 years to move both grand and upright pianos. They're consistently professional, experienced, and friendly. No matter how challenging the space, they always get the job done flawlessly. Highly recommended!
Total experts when it came to the move. Nothing fazed them and they moved the piano through some tricky turns smoothly and quickly, and with lots of care.
I rang them and explained what I needed (moving my piano from one room to another) and provided all the details, and was promised a quote via email. After almost two working days I hadn’t received anything so I rang back and spoke to a different, rather rude individual who snapped at me and abruptly said I would need to provide all the details again with no reasons or apology. I started providing her the information but was quite put off by her rude tone and I said “actually, I think I’m going to leave it” to which she responded “fine, goodbye” in a rude manner. I’ll spend my money elsewhere thanks!
Piano speed delivered our new piano with great care and exactly on time. Thank you for a great service.
I am horrified by my experience with this unprofessional company. They charged me £300 to dismantle and collect a damaged section of my piano which was to be sent for repair (to a different company) and then returned. The guy who came to dismantle and collect was a bog standard removals man with a van who had no idea about pianos and no clue what he was doing. He said as much to me on arrival - "I don't know anything about pianos". He then peered inside my £6000 piano while on the phone to the supposed piano expert (why was the piano expert not on site?) and yanked at a knob simultaneously asking "should I pull this?" Horrified, I tried to stop him but too late - the part he was touching was NOT something he should be fiddling with. I then contacted the repair company myself and they sent a video of how to remove the damaged section, which I did myself, figuring that clueless as I am about piano interiors, I am not as clueless as this Piano Speed guy. In helping me lift the front panel off the piano, the removal man scratched another section of the piano which is not removable. I now face the possibility of having to send the whole piano off for repair to fix the new scratch made by the Piano Speed man. Awful experience. I massively regret not sending the man away as soon as he said he was clueless about pianos. I paid them £300 and they have further damaged my very valuable Yamaha. I am beyond upset.
