Safestore Self Storage

Excellent service on arrival of my house storage, exceptional help and advice from Rach, and Isaac. You have two employees that go out of their way to help, you must be very happy to have them in your employment.

We. We're at safestore Sunderland all day Fri 28/08/2026 and was looked after by a member of staff named Rach she was very polite and professional would highly recommend using them for all your storage needs

Visited recently and spoke with Rach. She was incredibly helpful and showed us around a number of units for us to see which was the best option. Rach then helped us work out costs and gave us all the information we needed

Very disappointed. When I went to cancel my lockup I found that the wire netting on the roof had been removed leaving the room accessible from above and not safe at all. Have used this place twice, there won’t be a third time.

First time trying out self storage with Safestore. Don’t know why I’ve been putting it off as everything has been so straight forward. From first having a look at what size would be best for my usage to accessing the unit for the first time - The staff are really friendly and helpful! — thanks to Ryan for helping me sort out in my head exactly how much space I’d need and to Rach who showed me round and went through everything I need to know….and also to Candice who was the lovely lady who took my initial query :) It was easy to get stuff unloaded and found I was finished in no time and really like the idea that I can come and go as I like (within opening hours) which makes things very accessible.

Ryan was very helpful and understanding. Martin and Rach make a great bree and made the set up process really easy.

I needed last minute storage as I was moving and had underestimated the amount of items I owned. Ryan was very easy to talk to over the phone and helped me to sort out details regarding space and payments. Rach was very considerate as I brought my things on a sunday, needing to arrive 15 minutes past closing yet she assured me that it would be fine and stayed later when she didn't need to. This took alot of stress out of my situation which I really appreciated.
