Store First Self Storage Derby

First time using a storage facility, due to building works at home. Hoped to keep our items and sentimental items away from dust. To pay someone to have it placed in mice feaces instead. Had paid without fail every month Traumatised my wife. I was told I am able to claim for the damaged items. But as there was dropping everywhere and a dead mice this had traumatised my wife. Was advised by the person on duty that day. They will clear it and we can come back tomorrow to do an inventory of the damaged / soiled items. The next day when asking another member of staff to get allowed access she righted another floor with mice infestation… which contradicted the previous statement that this was an isolated incident. And then on arrival to the unit the droppings and the dead mice were still there. The wife refused to go in and I had to submit a guess work application for compensation. After submitting to this I wrote to the manager who directed me to the complaints team and the response I got was that why they have insurance, the service I got, the infestation, the trauma, distress and time wasted meant nothing and they didn’t offer us anything else for partial refund as they believed they still provided the service I needed. Absolutely will never use this company again and don’t think I will ever use any storage facility again. Would’ve been better of leaving it at home in dust, at least I could’ve wiped it all off.

I had a meeting with a company who have their office here. Good facilities, meeting rooms, kitchen area. It's generally been quiet each time I've visited, free parking and plenty of it.

Great sized storage for fantastic prices. Easy to access whilst remaining secure. Site is easy to get to with just being off the A52.

Good staff very friendly and helpful great prices an a fantastic introductory offer! Good 24 hour access to the units and plenty of parking.

Really simple process of getting a space and then signing the papers. Once don't the key is yours. The work space and kitchen are really nice and usable. Haven't seen the gym but I'm aware they have one. Would recommend to anyone looking for storage.
