Clean and safe site bit expensive though. Shame no light in bigger units

Terrible company and appalling customer service photo ID failed when using the app I called in and was advised I needed to send them photos of my ID and a selfie over email which is shocking in this day and age and I then asked if I could verify ID another way, the lady then said she could do an “online” check which we carried out and I was successfully verified except that mean I could never use their App (which in fairness I never wanted in the first place) to manage my account. Told the lady to cancel my storage booking and to refund my first month’s rent.

I would highly recommend this company for storage. I needed a unit whilst moving home. The process to hire a unit was simple and easy to understand. The staff are friendly and helped me choose the correct size unit for my needs. The units are excellent value for money.

I’m really happy I chose UK Storage. The facility is excellent and well organised. It was easy to set up the account initially online and make the first payment. They ask you buy their insurance which is reasonable and convenient although you can provide your own cover if you show evidence of it. You are texted a code and your locker number for the gate nearer your booking. You then can come and go as you please within working hours or for a small charge you can have 24/7 access. On your first arrival you just get yourself there and find your locker using the helpful floor plan near the lift. On the floor of your locker is a little box with your barrel lock (purchased as part of the sign up). Then have fun making many trips using the trolleys and lifts as much as you want. Weekdays are quieter so therefore your trips will be quicker (no waiting for lifts). Throughout my storing I rang up about various things and found staff to always be available helpful and friendly. They’re a really nice bunch of people who run the facility and they made our moving home experience that bit less stressful. Thanks to Aidan for finishing up our account in the custom efficient and friendly manner. I received a refund for the days I didn’t use which was a bonus. Thanks. 😊

Superb storage facility. Great location, access was easy and I felt safe on my own there which is important. Units were clean and easy to use. Do go for a ground floor option if you can, it made life much easier. Price definitely wasn't the cheapest but offered value for money for my needs. Finally closed my unit this month. The account closing process was seamless and my part-month refund happened on time. Happy to recommend here. Even better if you try to use the offer period rather than keep it for ages like I did as prices did creep up over time.
