AMH Pianos Services London

AMH Pianos Services London has been operating across London for almost two decades. The business was set up over 13 years ago by Andy Howard, also known as Andrew Martin Howard, who serves as founder and managing director. The company name derives from Andy's initials, AMH. It has private offices, workshops and studios in Brixton, Hammersmith, Greenwich, Holborn and Twickenham, and operates in all boroughs of London.

The company works purely with acoustic pianos, both upright and grand. It is associated with The Institute of Musical Instrument Technology and the Association of Blind Piano Tuners. The company holds insurance to move pianos safely. It can restore old pianos that are close to or above 100 years old. Services include piano tuning, repairs, removals, restoration, reconditioning, and pianos for sale.

Piano tuning and repair work is the theme that recurs most often across the feedback for this London business, with customers describing a service that proves straightforward to arrange and consistently well executed. Several reviewers highlight how quickly enquiries were answered, noting that messages and quote requests received prompt, clear replies, and that appointments were kept punctually. Andy is named repeatedly, and reviewers describe him as polite, friendly and informative, with a depth of knowledge that shows in the finished result.

A point made in several accounts is the condition of the instrument after work: customers report that tuning and repair left their pianos sounding revitalised, and one describes an instrument feeling renewed. The advice given alongside the work is described as helpful, and the pricing is characterised as fair value for the skill involved. Reviewers also note the professionalism of the team and the ease of communication throughout, from the first exchange through to completion. Satisfaction is expressed in strong terms, with customers stating they would return for future tuning and repair needs. The combination of punctuality, expertise and clear communication is what reviewers return to again and again.
