⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I couldn’t be happier with my experience from Anchor - start to finish, everything exceeded expectations—professional, thoughtful, and genuinely impressive. We reached out to the company after being recommended, and they came to site to look over our property. Paul was on time, courteous, and explained everything that was needed for us to do on the day of our move. We were pleased with our quote which was in line with others, but it was followed up in a non pushy conversation a few days later. We decided to go with Anchor as they followed up with quote with a weekly call and email to see how things were going. On the day of the move, Gregg rolled up in his van followed by John and Andy in the truck. Our house belongings had definitely grown over the years and it felt like they would never fit everything in. The quality and attitude of the team was outstanding, and the attention to detail made all the difference. It’s rare to find something that delivers exactly what it promises, and even rarer to feel so well looked after throughout. I see the last reviews on this company are well over a year ago, before the company merged with Anchor Removals, as it is now. Previously it was Britannia Removals, and I’m sure a lot better service than they now provide. I would urge anyone considering using them, to save yourself at all costs! To mention only a few things we’ve just experienced. They were late arriving by well over an hour and a half, which meant we were late vacating the property and being chased by estate agents. They damaged a large number of items, such as pictures, plant pots, radiator cover, soft furnishings, a beautiful and very expensive dinning table, which clearly hadn’t been protected in transit, and as a result had huge groves taken out of the wood on the table top. They also caused damage to the new property moving things in. We noted all the damages on the paperwork, which the lad's agreed to before we all signed it and they left. They informed us to contact the head office tomorrow when they had a copy of the paperwork, and we would be compensated. Upon contacting them the next day and being asked to provide and email across photographs of all the damages, which we did. They then informed us that ‘the lads’ said all the damages were already done prior to their arrival and refused to take any responsibility or pay us back a penny. We are now left completely out of pocket, having to find money to replace all the items, whilst also having paid them over £1,000 for the privilege. Do not use this company!

This was our first house move in 28 years, downsizing from a 5 to a 2 bed. We could not have selected a better removal company. Reece and Jay put our minds at ease and had everything under control. They went above and beyond what could have been reasonably expected of a removal company - nothing was a problem. Cannot recommend Anchor Removals Manchester more highly and especially Reece and Jay for making the move go so smoothly - thank you

Fantastic movers, Aaron, Tai and Andy were professional and moved incredibly quickly. Friendly and helpful, we were extremely happy with the service received and how hard they worked. Went above and beyond and a credit to the company. Would recommend Anchor if choosing a removals company.

Very accommodating at short notice and offering a fair price. The office team were flexible with last minute changes with our house sale which made the whole process less stressful. The removal team Gavin & Andy provided a faultless and friendly service. They were very careful as well as quick and efficient. Can't recommend highly enough.

I cannot thank the team enough for helping me move the contents of my Mothers house at short notice while she is hospital. Cheryl, Ellen and Jayne in the office were kind and considerate as well as practical and worked with me to get the right solution. Paul and the team on the day were amazing. Professional, hard working, tidy and respectful with no ask too much trouble. Worth every penny I will be using again.

What a great service even though my move wasn't straightforward. A visit from Tony Brierley was easy and quick to assess what I needed in the way of removals. No pressure was put on me. I didn't have a moving date but that was no issue. Once I knew an approximate date I spoke to Jayne and Elle who booked me on the date I gave them. Unfortunately something cropped up with the property I was moving to and even on the Friday before, I wasn't sure if I would have the keys. On the Monday, Gavin and Malcolm came to pack up my belongings and took my stuff to their depot. Just after they left I was told that I couldn't move to my new property so contacted the office and told them. They arranged to store my stuff and the next day I got the keys so contacted them again. They were able to deliver two days later and all my belongings were in my 2nd floor flat within 3 hours - and there were some heavy boxes as well as furniture. Every request from office to quote to removals and delivery was met with a pleasant can do attituded and basically nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend them highly enough.
