The storage facility is effectively a box within a box with no external walls, and has a well-manned front desk during business hours and is alarmed out of hours. A professional piano disposal service is also offered. Clients include Forsyths, Steinway & Sons, BBC, Royal Northern College of Music, Bridgewater Hall, T.P. Pianos, Sounds Great Music, and The Music Cellar.

Winsford customers repeatedly praise Gilberts Piano Transport for piano moving carried out with speed, care and evident expertise. Several reviewers describe the team as punctual on delivery day, arriving when promised and completing the work faster than expected, including one baby grand taken upstairs and another piano moved from a top floor to a basement within twenty minutes. One thing mentioned again and again is the protection given to both the instrument and the property, with doorways, tricky turns and staircases negotiated without damage.

Named staff feature warmly: Wayne and his team are called professional, Ade is remembered for a smooth and careful placement, and Anne-Marie is singled out for remaining helpful and supportive through repeated changes to a collection date. Customers also value the straightforward communication and quick response to enquiries, with quotes supplied promptly and short delivery windows appreciated. Reviewers mention friendly, polite removal men who offer tips on positioning and siting the piano, and the same households return for repeat moves, including a house relocation that reversed an earlier installation. The firm also delivers newly purchased pianos into the required room.
