SureStore - York

Real good storage place, great staff, honourable mention to Jack, Nick and Iona, who were all amazing, Jack went above and beyond for me and I was well looked after, this is my third experience with SureStore and the 3rd site I've used, and it's always been the same, excellence, simplicity and always professional, what an amazing company 🫡💚

Sure store York Very friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Very secure, extremely clean and good opening hours. Would highly recommend

Been a customer in SureStore for 18 months now, prices are great, easy app access for a smooth entry and top notch security 5* all around!

Bought Student storage for my daughter. Firstly I was told the deposit I paid to secure was refundable, but turns out, only if you don't go ahead. If you do, it becomes a surcharge added to your quote, so very misleading. Then when we went to the unit to book, they failed to inform us there is different levels of access, despite us telling them we had a six hour drive and would be emptying the unit in a Sunday afternoon or evening. No mention it would be closed then. We arrived at 5pm and had no access to all my daughters possessions for her new student house, which stressed her out ummeasurably and cost me dearly. We couldn't stay at her house, and had to book a hotel at great cost as it was last minute and very little availability. When I complained they appeared to say it was my word against their sales person that we hadn't been told. I think the worst part was that when we went back first thing Monday morning to get the stuff, the young man who sold us the unit and failed to inform us of the Sunday hours, handed me a leaflet with the hours on, saying "didn't they give you this when you signed up". No he didn't, as it was him who signed us up, or we wouldn't have just had to pay £115 for a hotel. I use storage for my business and an automated storage unit that is only open in reception hours is as useless as a chocolate teapot frankly. A company that prefers to believe inept staff over customers, is not worth dealing with again and it seems they value just getting money in, not providing a good service. A very unpleasant experience.

We've been using SureStore in York for over a year, and have rented a range of units, from small to quite big, during two house moves. All the units we’ve rented have been clean and dry. Access is controlled by an app which means you can't access floors where you have no unit. There are normally plenty of trolleys in the lobby for loading and unloading, and a couple of pump trucks too. There's ample parking. The staff have been really helpful and friendly, particularly Ioana, and we have been very happy customers of SureStore in York. Would recommend.

I've been really happy with my experience at SureStore. The staff have always been friendly and helpful whenever I've needed anything, and they've made the whole process easy from the start. The facility is clean, secure, and well looked after, which gives me confidence that my belongings are safe. Access is straightforward and the unit has been perfect for what I needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend SureStore to anyone looking for storage.

Ioana is one of a kind, she really went above and beyond for me I couldn’t recommend Surestore high enough simply because of her customer service! She also makes a great brew!
