They managed to arrange my move within less than 24h, the packing and unpacking was done within a couple of hours and the boxes were out of my house within a couple of days. I can only offer my highest praise!
Highly professional, friendly and super helpful. CML provide a service comparable with the best in class, but at a much more reasonable rate. Maybe not the cheapest but for sure value for money. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will be using them again on my next move for sure.
Josh and his team were excellent, and did exactly what they promised when they promised. They made our move very smooth, and we were very pleased with the service.
These guys are the best in the business. I have used them twice (2nd time was moving my elderly parents out of London) and they are without doubt the most professional, careful, friendly guys I have encountered. They are completely reliable and their communications through the whole process are excellent. I highly recommend them, don’t look anywhere else.
We had an excellent experience with Caversham Movers and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. From the outset, the team were extremely professional, efficient, and fairly priced. What really set them apart was that they took the time to visit us in person and provide a detailed, thoughtful quote rather than relying on an online form. Although their quote was slightly higher than some other companies, we chose Caversham because they were far more attentive, thorough, and clearly cared about doing the job properly. Ahead of the move, they dropped off boxes and packing materials (they also offer a full packing service at an additional cost) and took the time to clearly explain how the moving day would run, which was very reassuring. On the day itself, they arrived promptly and worked incredibly quickly and efficiently. They carefully dismantled our furniture (beds, wardrobes, etc.), packed the truck with great care, and protected both the old and new properties by covering floors with specialist moving mats and wrapping any furniture at risk of damage. They went above and beyond by also organising the disposal of some old couches, which made a big difference for us. The owner, Jason, was hands-on throughout—regularly checking in, coordinating his team, and walking through the new property with us at the end to make sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted and that we were happy. They came recommended by a friend, and we would recommend them again without a second thought. P.S. Number one rule when organising movers: don’t forget to offer the lads coffee and tea… and don’t pack the kettle like I did. The local Costa saved the day!
Jason and his team were excellent! We have not unpacked all the boxes yet but I would say we are 80-85% of the way. We have not found any damaged items and Caversham Moves has picked up all the boxes we have unpacked to date. Short version we would not have been able to move effectively without contracting them - they were professional, friendly and really honest. 10/10 service!
We had a fantastic experience with Caversham Moves Ltd from start to finish. The team was professional, efficient, and handled all of our furniture and belongings with great care. Everything was packed and moved safely, which gave us real peace of mind. What really stood out was their attitude. They went above and beyond by even helping our neighbours, who were struggling to move a very heavy sofa. That level of kindness and willingness to help says a lot about their service. Highly recommended if you are looking for a reliable and professional moving company.
