I am very pleased with the work done by Griffin Transport yesterday. The crew - Matt, Andrew and Martin - returned a Steinway Model B grand piano to my home after it had been worked on by Steinway in London, and from the outset everything went very smoothly. Matt phoned to inform me when they were 20 minutes from my location, and every aspect of the actual move of the piano itself was done in a most professional manner. I have seen many pianos moved over the course of decades and Matt, Andrew and Martin knew exactly what they were doing. They were careful with the instrument and with our floor, they were efficient and did not waste time, and yet were courteous and kind. The piano arrived in perfect condition and they spent a little extra time placing it exactly where we wanted it. Their overall work was exemplary and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Can't recommend Griffin Transport highly enough. Everyone has been very helpful. The collection and delivery were conducted in an admirably professional and straightforwardly friendly spirit. And the piano has arrived in perfect condition.

Absolutely delighted with the service I received from Griffin Transport. Went smoothly from start to finish. Piano removal and delivery of digital piano was quickly and carefully carried out. New instrument soon assembled and working. The delivery team were smartly dressed, very polite, and got to work with a minimum of fuss. Lovely job. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed with Griffin. A recent £5,500 Yamaha U1 could not have gone worse. Bought from the main dealer here in Glasgow, whom I've known for years. Griffin quoted more than double what the competition were quoting but I went with them thinking it would be professional and that I wouldn't have to worry. They transported it without covers (I'm later told this is Griffin policy), which is utterly stupid. Padded blankets and ratchet straps are a MUST. Take panels off the piano if it's too heavy for your lads, which it obviously was. The stumbled up 8 steps, only using a ramp for 4 of them. They put the piano down on it's beam on these steps, rather than on it's castors. The guy at the top had a wobble at the top and I'm surprised he steadied himself enough for the 3 of them to put the piano down at the top of the steps. They then put it on its castors and rolled it 8-10 metres across 100 yr old stone slabs in this Glasgow tenement. No trolley, no dolly - even though one was closeby. I watched all of this with my own eyes, yet when I formally complained to Griffin through the deal here in Glasgow, Griffin denied all of this, effectively calling me a liar. I bet you know what company I'll never use again.

Great service, transporting and installing newly bought grand piano. Courteous and clear communication on piano handling and care. Would recommend.

I found the experience of dealing with Griffin Transport to move a piano a very positive one. From the initial contact I found the staff to be very helpful and courteous and they produced my quote very quickly. In terms of the guys who moved my piano, they were very efficient and nothing was a problem for them, happily tweaking the piano position to how I wanted it! As importantly, they were very respectful and courteous and took great care of my property, not just the piano but ensuring that there was protective floor covering for the move. They were a pleasure to deal with!
